The Most Dangerous Game

Vladimir Putin of Russia makes the case that I have been making over the last two years:

Namely, that the Bush Foreign Policy is making the world a very dangerous place by forcing rogue states to undertake nuclear weapons programmes as a means of self-defence, which only serves to destabilise regional and national security arrangements.

Putin is no democrat, and I worry about Russia greatly, but he deserves tremendous credit for his candid comments yesterday.

I have responded to your offerings of goodwill and brotherly love, and I have done so without mentioning the movie Deliverance.

I'm no fan of Putin either. One might conjecture that his comments serve a poltical agenda of increasing Russia's profile at the expense of the US. But he's not wrong in his simple summation of US actions.

Whereas, Aeneas, going around poisoning and gunning down your critics (no matter where they live) is very "stabilizing" of the world order...

Further, the rogue states are acquiring nuclear weapons in "self-defence"...yeah, that's the ticket...

Roundhead.

I hear Stalin said a correct thing or two on occasion too.

Keep up the great work, and, if you really want to hear some perceptive criticism of America, listen to Castro or read Hitler.

Mein Gott.
